On Oct. 13, leading a group from the SK Technological Innovation Center (TIC), Mr. Byun Jae Woan, Managing Director visited Tsinghua University, and discussed with professors from Department of Electrical Engineering the current situation and problems of smart grid in China, and the possible development in China’s smart grid industry of foreign companies. After the meeting, the SK delegation visited the laboratory in Department of Electrical Engineering, getting to know more about the research ability and achievements of the department.
On Nov. 29, delegation from TIC of SK visited Medical School of Tsinghua University, and had a seminar with professors specialized in epigenetic heritance and cancer, systems neuroscience and neural engineering, etc. from Medical School. During the seminar, SK introduced its focus in health care and was informed of the research focus and results of Tsinghua University in related fields. They also discussed the technological details in possible cooperative areas. After the seminar, representatives from SK visited the medical microsystem technology lab and human gene research institute lab of Medical School.
