Dec. 20, 2010, the signing ceremony of the Tsinghua- Environmental Harmony Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Joint Lab was held in the FIT building of Tsinghua University. Mr. Xie Weihe, Vice President of Tsinghua University, and Mr. Kojima Keiji, Director of the Hitachi Central Research Institute, attended the ceremony and gave a speech. They highly spoke of the cooperation in the past nine years, and maintained that the coming researches focused on the integration of the three networks (the telecommunication networks, the cable TV networks and the internet) and energy conservation also has positive practical significance. Mr. Kojima Keiji, Mrs. Ma Jun, Director of the Overseas R&D Management Office, and Mr. Tanabe Shiro, General Manager of Hitachi-China R&D Company, signed the agreement.
