On April 26, which was the first day of the countdown of Tsinghua University centenary celebration year, the Tsinghua University-TPV Technology Group cooperation agreement signing ceremony was held in the main building of Tsinghua University. The ceremony was hosted by Yang Jiaqing, Vice Chairman of Tsinghua University Education Foundation. Hu Heping, Chairman of Tsinghua University Council and Mr. Xuan Jiansheng, President of TPV Technology Group addressed on the ceremony respectively and signed cooperation agreement on behalf of the two parties.
TPV Technology Group, a large global technology company, is mainly engaged in the research, manufacture and sales of monitors, LCD TVs, and AIOs. Its own brands, AOC and Envision, are on sale in more than 30 countries. Since the year 2004, its monitor production has remained first in the world for 6 consecutive years. The company’s revenue exceeds US$ 8 billion.
Under the guiding principle of “Complementary Advantages, Mutual Benefits and Common Development”, the comprehensive cooperation agreement between Tsinghua and TPV covers aspects such as joining the Tsinghua University-Industry Cooperation Committee (UICC), EMBA training, customized courses for TPV, as well as scholarships and acting as social practice base for Tsinghua students. TPV becomes the 37th overseas member company of UICC.
After the ceremony, Mr. Lu Bingchang, Senior Vice President and CTO of TPV Technology Group delivered a wonderful speech entitled “Career Development of High-Tech Talents”, and exchanged views with Tsinghua students on topics such as career development planning, overall ability enhancement and career preparation.
