On April 8, management meeting of first term joint research between Tsinghua University and Nokia was held in the FIT building of Tsinghua University. The participants from Tsinghua and Nokia reviewed a report on the progress and achievements of joint research projects undertaken in 2009, and discussed research directions, and possible collaboration projects for the future. This year is the last year of the first 3-year term of the research collaboration between Tsinghua and Nokia. Both parties expressed the hope to maintain the strategic partner relationships and to continue the cooperation for a second term.
Mr. Liu Zhen, Director of Nokia Research Center(Beijing), Ms. Zheng Yanfei, Manager of University Relations, Nokia(China), Niu Zhisheng, Vice Dean of School of Information Science and Technology, Wang Jing, Director of Wireless and Mobile Communications Technology Research Center and Ma Jun, Director of Overseas R&D Management Office, attended the meeting.
