Professor Yue Guanxi from Tsinghua’s Department of Thermal Engineering, together with his industry partner, developed 15MWe-100MWe Circulating Fluidized Bed (CFB) Boiler, which Tsinghua owns independent Intellectual Property rights. The total output value of the CFB Boilers has reached more than 1 Billion RMB.

 

Professor Yue and his team developed the CFB simulator which is the first one applied in commercialized Boiler product in the world.

 

The CFB technology has been licensed to the companies in Japan and Thailand. The licensing agreement between Tsinghua and Japanese company is the first of its kind for Tsinghua and China, in which CFB technology is transferred to the Japan.
