R&D Collaboration

Siemens is one of the most significant partners to Tsinghua. From 1995 up to now, through kinds of cooperation in different areas, Tsinghua and Siemens have already established a firm relationship. The top experts from both sides work together to tackle critical problem, create innovations and make great achievements n both basic and applied research.
The agreement of CKI is a creative and comprehensive model to promote further research collaboration between Tsinghua and Siemens in various areas. For Tsinghua faculties, CKI Tsinghua provides a platform to showcase to Siemens in its full range of research skills, to transfer practical know-how and understand the needs from industrial point of view. Innovative ideas are taken on board and communicated to the relevant business units at Siemens. For Siemens, CKI Tsinghua is a direct access point to talent and knowledge resources of Tsinghua.
