CKI Tsinghua is supervised by a steering committee (STC) jointly formed by Tsinghua and Siemens. The committee meets twice a year to review and discuss the working progresses and the strategic directions of CKI Tsinghua.

The plans and decisions made by STC are implemented by CKI Tsinghua office and Siemens China, closely coordinated by Siemens CT O UNI which is a Siemens office responsible for university relations in general. CKI Tsinghua Office helps setting-up collaborative projects and offers support during the full project lifecycle.
