In recent years, more and more bilateral and multilateral government-sponsored scientific and technological collaborative programs are open to industry and encourage universities and companies to jointly apply for project fundings. The overseas R&D Management Office serves as a channel to distribute the relevant information to university faculty concerning such funding opportunities to and facilitate the application procedure for such projects.
